Is your personal computer not reading discs you're putting in your CD drive? There is most likely something wrong with your CD drive. Often dust can accumulate in your CD drive and this will make the discs inserted unreadable.

    • Make sure the device is turned off.

    • Remove the panel on the bottom of the laptop by sliding the switch to the right.

    • Locate the screw that keeps the CD drive attached, and remove it with a Phillips head screwdriver.
