The purpose of this guide is to replace a defective CMOS battery. This guide involves working on the motherboard, which is very fragile. Take extreme care not to impact the motherboard, or damage it in any way. As always, do not lose any parts that are removed in order to change the battery as they will be needed for reassembly.

1. 步骤 1 Removing the Back Cover
  Place computer with the screen down on a flat surface.
  
  Push the two locking latches to the unlocked position.
  
  Push the cover toward the top of the computer and lift up.

1. 步骤 2 CMOS Battery
  Place your finger on the latch on top of the CMOS battery on the bottom corner of the motherboard.
  
  Pinch the latch to unlock the battery.

  Pry the battery up from the sides to remove it.
