Loosen the cable clamp screw, and the cable adjusting screw. You will want to hold the swivel with a wrench, or pliers when loosening the cable adjusting screw.

Slide the boot off of the throttle cable end. Remove the cover plate screw, and remove the cover plate by lifting or gently prying at the arrow

pull out on the sheath to remove it from the housing. Lift up on the cable to release the ball from the groove. Remove the boot from the old cable to be reinstalled on the new cable.

Use a 1/2" wrench or socket to remove the nut from the clamp. slide the cable through the guide in the direction indicated. open the clamp and remove from the old cable to be installed on the new cable.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order. Place the boot on the new cable after putting the cable through the guide sleeve. Re-install the clamp in the middle of the cable last, once you have both ends secured.
