The simplest way to try and solve any malfunctions of the radio is to first replace the batteries.

    • First, apply pressure with your thumb on the top of the battery cover.

    • Next, pull down on the cover until it begins to slide.

We have 2 that we have not used in over a year. The back covers absolutely won’t come off - I assume the batteries corroded and formed a kind of cement. Any tips?
