After prolonged use, the head strap can lose its cushioning or become worn out. Replacing the padding does not involve dismantling the headphones so it does not require any mechanical experience or complex tools.

Carefully pull one end of the head strap up until it is loose.
Pull the head strap back until the whole piece peels back.
For ease, you may also remove the head strap using the iFixit tech knife.
