Canon PowerShot S80 Speaker Replacement

This guide is for replacing the speaker on your Canon PowerShot S80. If you have already checked your volume settings and the speaker still does not give audio cues when the camera is in use, this guide will help you replace the faulty speaker.

    • Remove the knot on the wrist lanyard.

    • Remove the battery and the memory card.

    • Begin removing the screws on the bottom of the outer casing.

    • Gently pull off the back casing.

    • Remove the black "L" shaped piece of metal.

    • Remove the screw and unplug the wire lead.

    • Gently remove the speaker from the camera body.
