This is a simple guide on how to replace the battery in your Asus ROG Strix GL553VD gaming laptop.

Use a JIS screwdriver to remove the ten 4 mm screws from the bottom cover.

Open the flap in the middle to reveal the 11th screw and remove it using the same JIS screwdriver.

Gently lift each corner to remove the cover from the laptop.
If you seem to have difficulty removing the cover, you may use a plastic opening tool to pry up one of the corners to get you started.
