Be sure to follow this guide in a well lit room on a flat surface. Acquire the necessary tools before hand and have a cup or a magnetic plate to keep track of all the screws.

Unscrew the ten 10mm Phillips #0 screws.
Use the plastic opening tool along the side of the laptop to pry open.

Remove the seven 4mm Phillips #0 screws.
Gently pull the connector.

Lift the heat sink and fan assembly, and you are done!
There maybe a little resistance to being pulled up since the heat sink is attached to the CPU with thermal paste
