To access the compartment that holds the RAM, flip the laptop so the bottom cover is facing upward and the battery compartment is facing away from you.

Use a Phillips #0 screwdriver to remove the two screws that hold down the compartment cover.

Lift the cover and locate the green and blue RAM sticks on the right side of the device.

To remove the green RAM stick, push outward on the inner sides of the two metal chip holders simultaneously.
Pull out the stick once it is released from the holders.
Repeat this step on the lower level that holds the blue RAM stick.
