Apple TV 4K Logic Board Replacement

This guide will show you how to properly get into your Apple TV 4K device and get access to the logic board for replacement.

    • Use a spudger to pry the bottom panel off from the body. It is held on with clips on the inside, so you will need to make sure those are undone while opening.

    • The panel is held onto the device tightly, so you may need to be a bit forceful to remove it.

    • Remove the following screws using a T6 Torx screwdriver holding the heat sink assembly in.

    • Two black 3 mm screws

    • Two silver 4 mm screws
