This guide will provide in-depth instructions on replacing or removing a battery on an Acer Aspire V5-131-2629 laptop.
The battery spans the majority of the length of the back of the laptop and can be easily removed without the use of any tools.
If your battery no longer holds a charge like it should, it may be time to replace your battery. This may happen due to overcharging the battery or a battery that overheats.
The replacement battery mentioned below is only compatible with the 10.8V and 11.1V models of this device. Because this battery is not from Acer themselves, the battery will protrude from the bottom and back of the laptop and will cause your laptop to sit at an angle.
