2014 Buick Encore Air Intake Filter Replacement

This guide demonstrates how to replace an Air Intake for 2014 Buick Encore. An air filter of the car is used to catch dirt or debris to have a clean air flow to the engine. A clean filter increases the lifespan and reliability of an engine. Replacing an air filter in the air intake regularly is very important to prevent inefficiency and maintain the car's performance. A clean air filter also provides for better fuel economy.

The part used to replace the air filter is: STP SA11501.

    • Make sure that the vehicle is turned off before proceeding.

    • Pull the hood release latch under the steering wheel on driver's side.

    • Insert the two 5 mm screws, and tighten them with a Phillips #2 Screwdriver.
