This replacement might not be needed, unless you frequently use the ceiling light. The LED light is not a requirement for the replacement. I use a LED light because it’s bright and uses less power than the original light. If you do the replacement with an original light, then you wouldn’t do step number seven. Let’s say if you replaced the light and it doesn’t turn on, it might be due to a few items. The first item is that the replacement light doesn’t work/broken. Try this troubleshoot, make sure the switch is turn on. Then walk around the car and start to open and closing the doors. If the opened driver’s side door turns the light on while the rest don’t, you’ll need to replace the switches on the car door.

Remove the key from the ignition and turn off the vehicle.

Turn the interior ceiling light off.

Using a flathead screwdriver, place it in the gap and remove the light cover.

Unplug the LED interior ceiling light and remove it from the vehicle.

Turn on the interior light to test the LED replacement.
Remember to start your vehicle and make sure your vehicle is running before testing the interior light.
