    All is paste on the display assembly. Use a screw to pass under the elements, and unglue them.

    Be VERY careful with the board, or just leave it there.

    In some (I think all) devices, the board is GLUED with the display assembly.

    Maybe to stabilize the port (But they can use screws, right? D*mn nasty glue!).

to safely remove the LCD display from the front touch screen glass w/o damaging the LCD screen I advise you to invest in and familiarize yourself with an LCD Separator machine and all the accessories that go along with it. Also, search for the machine and watch the videos..

This tutorial is incomplete, for instance the 'vibrator motor' removal does not specifies that this also removes the power button, and the removal of the front camera and light sensor is omitted, and the fact that heating the usb port part is very helpful if not mandatory before lifting it. How do I remove the screen/digitizer/front glass from the display assembly? I have a broken screen and need to install the replacement LCD/digitizer piece I bought, and need to install it into the display assembly before reassembling.

warning :

on the new part (display assembly) don’t forget to remove plastic protection on the radiator of cpu !!

I have successfully replaced the display with a new display, at which point the power button wasn’t working properly because I didn’t install it properly - fixed that, and I have now noticed that the phone will charge with the back plate on, only, however if I screw the back plate in this stops it from charging. What am I doing wrong?
