Identification and Background
The Lyra X2400 was released sometime in 2006 and is a portable media player that use to be sold by RCA. The X2400 has a 3.5" screen, built-in speakers, a CompactFlash slot, and the ability to record video and audio. This device is a 4"x3.25"x0.75" black box with 5 buttons on the front and a slide off panel to access the battery on the back. The screen of the Lyra is 3.5".

A new Lyra X2400, out of the box, should come with the following items:

- Video Management CD
- Win98 Driver & Instruction Manual CD-ROM
- AC/DC Adapter
- 512MB Compact Flash Card
- USB cable
- Audio and video cable
- Earphones
- Key ring
- Lithium Ion Polymer battery
To install the software from the CD-ROM, it is recommended that your computer has the minimum requirements:
- Windows 98
- Internet Access
- 200MB free space
- CD-ROM drive
- USB 2.0 port
