== Background and Identification ==

This guide if for the Roku 3500R Streaming Stick. This model of Roku's Streaming Stick line came out in March 2014.  The model is as The remote buttons may differ between editions. This model features four preset macro buttons. The stick features two ports, one HDMI and one Micro-USB as well as a single indicator light.

The Roku Streaming Stick is a streaming media player that comes preloaded with applications and a user interface. This model is capable  of displaying at 720p and 1080p. The stick connects to the internet by way of WiFi signal built into the device.
