== Background ==

The ThinkPad T16 Gen 3 is a 16" business laptop released in 2024 by Lenovo. It is the successor to the 2023 T16 Gen 2, but makes some notable changes. On the exterior, the RJ45 Ethernet port moves from the left side of the laptop to the right, and now incorporates a flap instead of being fully within the laptop. On the interior, the single SODIMM slot and soldered RAM from the Gen 2 are now two SODIMM slots.
