== Background and Identification ==

The Conair Infiniti PRO Curling Iron (model number CD108WFN) has a 1 1/4" barrel and 5 LED heat settings.  In order to identify the device, "Infiniti Pro Conair" can be found written on the side, and "1-1/4 INCH" is written on the barrel.  It comes with a plastic heat shield, comes in pink, black and grey and will automatically turn off when not in use. There are several similar versions of this curling iron. There are Infiniti PRO curling irons with barrel diameters of 3/4", 1" and 1 1/2" (model numbers CD106PRP, CD107TP and CD109BP respectively)). Furthermore, there are also Infiniti Pro styling brushes with 1" and 1 1/4" Barrel diameters (model numbers BC2NWTP and BC3NWP respectively).  The model number can be found at conair.com  by searching for the product's description.  Alternatively the model number can be found on the warning label engraved on the product.

This device only operates on 60hz, 120v alternating current (found mainly in the US) and has an American style plug. It also has a limited 5-year warrenty for defects in workmanship or materials. It was released in 2014 and has had no major recalls.
