I have a the 16gb ipod touch. I was wondering if I can replace the logic board with a 1st gen 32gb logic board.
Just trying to help a friend out. I haven't seen the ipod yet. Just wanted to give him a worst case scenario price before I took it. It works fine, except for the screen is really dim.

Jeremiah, yes you can for as long as it is the same model. In your case, since the screen is dim, I would start by replacing the LCD. This could fix it if it is the backlight, not if it is the inverter circuitry on the board. Hope this helps, good luck
