What tools do I need to remove the bottom plate?

Hi!

For the bottom plate / base of the brewer you'll need a:

• Phillips #2 screwdriver
• (Unspecified size) Security Torx screwdriver

iFixit has a guide going through how to remove the base of the brewer, which you can read here: Base replacement guide.

If you instead want to remove the heating plate, you can follow the Heating Plate replacement guide, and then you would need the following tools:

• Phillips #2 screwdriver
• (Unspecified size) Security Torx screwdriver
• (optional) Pliers
