Pixel 7a screen black after replacement but phone vibrates

I recently replaced the screen on my Google Pixel 7a with a genuine part from iFixit. After the repair, the screen remains completely black.

**Symptoms:**

The phone vibrates when holding the power button, so I know it's powered on.
I have tried a force restart (Power + Volume Up for 30 seconds) with no success.
I have already tried reseating the display connector and ensured it is clicked into place.
The battery was disconnected during the repair and has been charged.

Are there specific components or common pitfalls I should check on the logic board? Could this be related to the display stamping plate or a specific fuse? Any advice on further diagnosis before I request a replacement part?

Sounds like you've done everything possible at this point. The only other thing you could try would be to plug the original screen back in (assuming it's at least partially functional) to verify it's the new screen that's the problem.

Otherwise it sounds like time to request a replacement; being a Pixel owner myself I've noted an unfortunate tendency for genuine Google screens to fail right out of the box; for some reason there seems to be an issue with quality control on their replacement screens.
