I was about 45 minutes into playing my PS5 and all of a sudden it made a loud popping sound and then it turned off, I smelled smoke as if something fried, and now it seem to not receive any power to turn on! Any suggestions on what happened?

Hi!
If your PS5 still have warranty, please return it and get yourself a new one.
If not, I would replace the PSU and see if that solves it.
