Hi @tarhbeteckayuk
Try a full power refresh in case the BIOS has become corrupted and is preventing a normal start i.e the PC is not passing POST (Power On Self Test)
Here’s the procedure:
a). Disconnect the power from the PC
b). Open the case remove the coin cell RTC battery from the motherboard. Here’s the hardware maintenance manual that will help
When the coin cell battery is removed from the motherboard, use a DMM (voltmeter function) to measure the battery’s voltage. If it is <2.5V DC or if the battery is >4-5 years old, replace it. It's a CR2032 Lithium coin cell battery that is available most everywhere.
c). Press and hold the Power on button for 30 seconds and then release. This will restore the BIOS back to the factory default settings.
d). Reinsert the coin cell battery (or replacement battery) on the motherboard (+ve on top as marked on the battery)
e). Reassemble the desktop, reconnect the power to the PC and check if it turns on OK,
If it does there may be a message on the screen about the date and time being incorrect. This is normal as the BIOS has been reset. Once the date and time have been corrected, the message won’t appear the next time that the PC is started.
