Camera Wont turn on?

Isis, here is my answer to a similar question "time to take it apart and check the battery connections. Make sure they are all in good working order. Check the bottom of the battery door, make sure that it pushes the battery so as to make connection with the battery connectors. Of course, make sure that your connectors are not corroded. Here is what the service manual suggest:

"Problem (when an error code is not displayed)

The power of the camera does not turn on.

Defect position

OPERATION FPC ASSM’Y

MAIN PCB ASSM’Y/

BATTERY COVER

FUSE (MAIN PCB ASSM’Y)

BATTERY COVER deformation.

POWER SW cannot be turned on.

If the Power cannot be Turned On

Procedure/Check point

1.Remove the front cover and the rear cover.

2.Check whether the BATTERY COVER open/close detection switch on the MAIN PCB ASSM’Y is broken

Of course you also want to make sure that the battery flex cable is in good working order and that the connector is not corroded, broken, or disconnected. I attached images for the fuse location as well as the battery cover open detect switch. Hope this helps, good luck.
