battery board data cable / connector damage
Botched battery removal, think (almost sure iv damaged the battery board data cable, thing is im not sure if the connector still has some cable in or if its supposed to look like thast , any advice ?

At this point just replace the connector
i rather spend 2 hours to replace that connector than 10 minutes everyday adding new superglue

Thanks but not sure my question was clear, what I was asking was is the connector supposed to look likle this or is some of the cable still attached ?
Nope you mangled it
We are pretty sure you ripped the locking tab out somewhere
The cable is probably fine tho, i dont see any missing peices of the cable
Just to be sure i recon looking in thr microscope for pad damage inspection

Ouch!
You mangle the ZIF connector which is now useless. You need to resolder a fresh connector onto the logic board. But I also see some deep scratches on the logic board hopefully it's not damaged.
I would strongly recommend seeking someone with deeper micro-soldering skills to do this as it does take a bit of skill and they likely have the needed parts if they fix MacBook Pro logic boards.

@scottrudd looks like you lost the locking tab from the connector. It does not look like you still have any cable connected to it. It is definitely a bit mangled :-). We would need a better closeup of the cable to see what is stuck on that end.
At this time I'd suggest you replace the complete connector. It is a Fujikura FF18-10A-R11AD-B-3H connector with Apple part number 518S00014. Those are available, but a bit overpriced and hard to find in single quantity. Lowest quantity I've found was 2 on here. Once you have the connector, you still need to find someone who can do the soldering for you. Not a terribly complicated task, but anytime you solder on a logic board you will need to have some experience.
Of course, there is always the possibility to just run jumpers instead of a flex cable, but that will require even more skill then just to replace the connector.
