I recently cracked my 3gs screen and ordered the replacement kit and changed it. After replacement (in the upright position) the letter "P" does not work. If i turn it sideways it works. Almost like the edge of the screen doesn't work. Is there a calibration for this? I have dissassembled and reassembled and checked connectors, which appear ok. Thanks in advance.

Check your digitizer cable connection. It sounds like you have a loose or bad digitizer connection. If not, it could be a faulty digitizer and you may need to get your screen replaced.
Again, check your connection to make sure it is making good contact with the mainboard connector.
