Repair and disassembly information for Logitech's ergonomic MX Vertical wireless mouse. Released in 2018 and identified by model number M-R0074.

Is it possible to replace MX Vertical rubber pads?

I have been using the MX Vertical for over 5 years now. For some time, the rubber pads around the mouse has become sticky and worn out. I tried to clean it following the procedures from Logitech website, but it is not really effective. As everything else in the mouse is good, I would like to replace the parts with a new rubber pad, but cannot find any sort of guide for it. Does anyone have a similar issue? What have you done to overcome it?

THAT "rubber" is sprayed on - don't think it is even rubber. Once it becomes sticky it doesn't clean. I have removed that stuff from other things using 90%+ ISO. The plastic below it isn't sticky.

I've had the same issue after one year of use, I think it would be much better if Logitech didn't use this rubbery substance at all.

In my case even isopropyl alcohol didn't help so I've mechanically removed the coating.

It is very time consuming but I find this mouse so comfortable I've invested the time. After you've successfully removed the coating, the underlying plastic is solid and not sticky at all.
