new battery doesn't charge

I recently bought a new battery on ifixit for my macbook which worked like a charm. Sometimes it didn't show the right percentage but it worked. Calibrating didn't really make a difference. the Coconutbattery program says it's 58 months old and the battery has been recharged around 80 times.

on top of my menubar it says "battery not charging" replace now. I tried doing a PMU reset but that didn't work either.

Now I'm using my old battery, which still works but is as good as dead.

any idea what other options I have?
