With the phone turned off, press and hold the Volume Down button and the Power button (both together) until the Recovery Menu screen appears, then release both buttons.

Use the volume buttons to navigate through the menu options to Wipe data/factory reset then press the Power button to confirm.

On the next screen scroll down to Factory Data reset and press the Power button, then press Reboot system now when the option appears.

Be aware that a factory reset will erase all your personal data on the phone. It will reset the phone back to its default state.

Also if there's a Samsung or Google account associated with the phone, you will need to know the account's User ID and password, to access the phone again once the reset has been done. This is because the FRP lock (factory reset protection) has been enabled by the reset. If you don't know the account login details, search online for Galaxy A05s FRP lock bypass to find out what to do.
