The good thing is that there is only one sensor; Hyundai/Kia uses Bank 1 as an indicator, which is located on the cylinder head. That said, it's usually hidden by the exhaust manifold, so if you can lift the car, it will likely provide better access on the V6; the i4 engines have better top access for exhaust components like this. You'll also want a good scanner to clear the codes, as they will be saved as a history code in permanent memory. I've never tried the 30-minute battery trick with Hyundai/Kia before, but a lot of the newer 2010+ cars are persistent enough that it's less effective.

Hyundai/Kia gatekeeps their manuals hard, so it's hard to find them BUT the good thing is that for any of these older ones, it's much easier to find dumps of the tools and manuals. This is for the 3.3 GDI, and it's the one I found first, having been leaked, so hopefully, there are no significant differences in the meantime while I look into it further for you: https://cardiagn.com/kia-cadenza-2013-20... . On the off chance the 3.3L and 3.5L are too different, see if this SM has it for $9: https://www.ebay.com/itm/156199784918 -- I'd ask the seller if your engine is in it as in some cases, Hyundai/Kia split it or only make it available in some but not others. I also found this: https://www.totalcardiagnostics.com/manu...

The only surefire way to get the 3.5L manual I have found is to pay Kia ($19/72 hours): https://kiatechinfo.snapon.com/subscript...
