Screen goes black in certain position or goes weird

I have a 4 yo IdeaPad 5 14IAL7 - Type 82SD however in certain positions the screen either goes black or weird / erratic.

I'm guessing some component is either starting to fail or come loose due to the lid being repeatedly opened / closed?

Any suggestions for how to fix please?
