Where is best to find a new replacement Wii U LCD screen?

I'm hoping to find a new LCD screen for my Wii U game pad. I've had to replace it before, twice in fact. My kids are young and responsible now, but they once were very destructive to my Wii U screen. The most recent damage wasn't so bad that it couldn't be played, but now that they're older I want to return it to a new state, only now I can't seem to find a replacement screen.

They used to be around $25 pretty much everywhere and there were a dozen sellers available on Amazon alone with solid reviews. Now there's just a bunch that are $50 there and on ebay, most of these say "out of stock", and all the reviews are terrible. They don't even sell them here on ifixit, with it listed out of stock and after asking them when they might be back in stock they replied saying they have none on order and have no plans to place a new order for them.

Please does anyone out there know a reliable and quality seller like ifixit that is still selling a Wii U LCD screen replacement? I'm not even sure why they all stopped given it's a console that's recently seeing a massive resurgence in the used games market, and the gamepad screens are absolutely vital to play the console. I imagine the sales are slow, but they are absolutely going to sell out given enough time. I'd even be willing to pay $50 or so for one, but the issue is in the reviews. I don't want to get screwed, and given all other stores say out of stock I'm expecting to be scammed by the last few no-name companies that claim to have them in stock on Amazon and Ebay. Seems sketchy AF.

Please help!

They are more difficult to find these days, but there are sellers out there who are selling the Wii U gamepad screen. But it's not cheap.

One in the example below is like $73,42

As example: 1PC For NDS NDSL NDSi New 3DS LL XL PSP GO Switch WII U Game Console Replacement Part Top Bottom Upper Lower LCD Screen Display - AliExpress

Here is another one: 1pc Top Bottom Upper Lower LCD Screen Display For NDS DS Lite NDSL NDSi XL New 3DS LL XL WiiU Game Console Replacement Part - AliExpress (this one is cheaper, it's like $40,61). And this one also does have a good review (4.7 stars average).

This works. Really sad to see so few options these days and such an inflation on the price of the replacement over just a couple of years. I really appreciate the help! I don't think I've ever shopped at AliExpress.com before. I guess I should this once, though.

I ordered one of the $41-ish ones. Unfortunately they take 2 weeks for delivery (unfortunately), probably going by boat from a warehouse in China, so makes sense. But it's on the way!

I'll probably make another comment here with a sort of review on its quality once I put it in, but I am still debating if I should install it right away or store it for later since the current screen works well enough for the kids and they're still young enough to break it again. With this price I may wait. So if I ever get around to doing a review like that here it may be years. XD

That said, anyone who stumbles across this thread in the future, feel free to reply and ask for my opinion on the part I received and I'll tell you whatever I know about it at that time. If I have installed it by then, then I'll have more to say, but I'll tell you what I know either way.

Alright! No problem at all! It's for the best to replace it when it's completely broken. Those screen are getting rare and more expensive by time. When you have time to write a review, feel free to do so :). I wish you good luck with the repair whenever you are going to repair the game pad!

I have a few of these 7" lcd screens, I purchased them as a job lot hoping to use for different project but could not find an adaptor to use them as just monitors.
