Do I have to use adhesive?

I want to replace the bottom shell on my controller, my question is do I need to use adhesive for the two circular magnets that are underneath the battery? Every video I saw they used something, but my package didn't come with any so is it crucial?

Hi!

No, not required but it is recommended. Just to keep the battery on it’s place (it will stay in it’s place when assembled again, but it’s just in case you need to disassemble it, it will stay there).

So, nope, not required but recommended.
