replaced screen and now its white with two different shades

i dropped my ipod months ago and cracked the screen so i finally got around to buying a replacement screen from i buisiness of ebay and it said it came with a guide but it was actually this website so i followed the screen replacement guide and now its in but before i put the metal back to it on i checked it and now it only has two different shades of white on the screen
