A1237/A1304 Audio Board Differences

I recently upgraded my A1237 to a A1304 logic board. Everything works fine except for audio. The audio board *is* detected and shows up in the control panel, however no sound output can be heard. I know that one of the speakers is attached directly to the audio board and I've checked all the connections.

In the System Profiler

Device ID: 0x10DECB79

Audio ID: 53

Available Devices:

Headphone:

Connection: 1/8 Inch Jack

Speaker:

Connection: Internal

If someone could compare this info to their true A1304 (Not a frankenstein version like mine) Or someone has also done this swap. I'd greatly appreciate any info.

So the original machine was the A1237 (Early 2008 Orig Macbook Air 1,1) and the logicboard swapped in is from a A1304 (Late 2008 Nvidia Macbook Air 2,1) I do not get audio out of the external port either. I'm not sure where I should be looking for a 'red light'. Would this be inside the headphone jack itself (in the IO hatch)? I don't see one on.

From my initial check, both machines appear to be using the same part but I don't know the exact machines you have. Check to see if it's Apple Part #: 922-8772. Also look in the audio port and see if you have a red light on. Also, do you get sound out of the external audio port?
