Why dose my controller turn on on its own?

I’ve been having issues with my controller were it turns on, on its own. It’s up to date and it never had water damage. I’ve reset it as well what can I do.

Is the PS button still being pressed in? If yes, it’s most likely the button circuit membrane which need to be replaced.
