Screen removal kit - pixels on new screen
Hi, just went through the full screen replacement guide. Bought the whole kit from you with a genuine display included. When I reinstalled the new screen and turned on the phone I wont get anything to display on the screen. I just get some pixels of color randomly and that's it. The old screen worked just fine before i removed it. I removed it because the glass was broken. During the removal I had to use some force so I'm pretty sure the old screen is fully dead by now. However the new screen I manedged to install very gently. I tried to replug the connector once and it feels like it's seated like it should in the connector.
Any advice would be appreciated.
It could likely either:
1) New screen is damaged/defective
2) Loose Ribbon Cable (ensure its connected securely to its connector)
Are you able to access the android recovery menu just fine? If you can, may be worth reinstalling pixel software to see if that fixes the issue: https://pixelrepair.withgoogle.com/carri...

Thanks for the reply. In the end I got a replacement screen from Ifixit and it worked straight of the bat. So the sceen was defective.
