My new nintendo 3ds xl turns off everytime I adjust the screen angle?

It fell off of my desk and now the entire console turns off when I adjust the angle of the screen. it also blinks red lights just before it shuts down. What's wrong and how do i fix it?

Hey @bombbunnie! This sounds like the flex cable connecting the upper screen got damaged and possibly a damaged or low battery.

First try charging your device for an hour and see if the red blinking light issue goes away. If not, you might consider trying to replacing the battery (never hurts to have a spare!).
