Screen won’t turn on

@john81163 if there is no menu showing or anything then it is most likely the LCD screen itself. It is possible that this is a backlight issue, so darken the room and turn the camera on. Now use a flashlight and angle the light at the screen on different areas. See if you can make out the cameras menu. If you do, then it is possible that this is a bad backlight . If not, I would proceed to replace the screen.

Since iFixit doesn't yet have a guide for this, use something like this video or even this one for the replacement.

While you work on your camera, take lots of pictures. Once you are done with it, take those pictures and create a guide for iFixit.
