All conditions work for one console but not the other

My brother got me the Pikachu console for my birthday and I've ruled out all my ideas so far on why it's not working. My old console was connected and booted up just fine, then I moved the power cable, AV cable, game cartridge, and controller over to the new console. TV said "no signal found". I moved everything back to the old console and again, it booted up fine, blew out the ports on the Pikachu one, put everything back and Pikachu one still isn't working. Anything else I can try?
