Unable to finish battery repair with Repair Assistant

I have managed to replace the battery in my iPhone 13 mini successfully. The phone seems to work fine but the "Finish repair & restart" item is not showing up in the Settings app. It showed at first but when I tried using it it failed (something about failing to contact the server). I retried a couple more times, but the item just disappeared (nor is it available in Settings > General > About > Parts & Service History, it shows that my battery is an "unknown part"). I tried restarting, making sure my phone is connected to WiFi, disabling PiHole, nothing helped.

I hear the repair assistant is still new and very flaky, but I was wondering if I can still finish the repair. Also, is there a point in contacting Apple support about this?

did you try this:

Phone is off

While holding down both the volume up and volume down buttons, plug the iPhone into a power adapter until the Apple logo appears

Hi Michael! Thanks for the tip. I managed to boot my iPhone into Repair Assistant by following the steps you suggested, but when I tried to finish the repair I got an error message: "Unable to Configure Battery. This part could not be configured because it is not a genuine Apple part or may not be functioning correctly. Check that the part is properly connected and try again. For more information, refer to the iPhone service manual for this device. You can continue using your iPhone, but may experience unexpected behavior. View all of your repair details in the Parts & Service History in Settings."
