Why does my Wii U freeze when I try to open a game?

My wii u freezes when trying to open anything. I tried replacing the bluetooth module and then later I tried replacing the wifi module, as another guide said was the issue and that didn't solve the problem, except the problem got worse. Before replacing the wifi module, the wii u would freeze on the splash screen when loading a game, but then after I replaced it, the whole thing would freeze as soon as i clicked on something to open and not even get to the splash screen. Is there any advice on how I can fix this?

Hi!

First, is the Wii U up to date? Is it modded? It does sound like something is failing in the NAND and thus the EMMC need to be replaced.

That one probably need an replacement. Only things is, that it's hard to find this one and you need to de-solder it out with special soldering equipment and need experience with this.

You can also replace the motherboard, but this will be expensive, but way easier instead of fixing the EMMC. When replacing the motherboard, remember to change the disc drive it's PCB as well! It's married with your motherboard.

No, it's not modded and not up to date because it always asks if I want to update. It can't update though because it freezes when trying to. (I actually tried booting it up again because I wanted to mod it)

Ah, yes this definitely sound like an issue with the NAND. You need to fix this :(.
