Is there a Bluetooth antenna?
Hello! Looking to upgrade the antenna for the Bluetooth (better controller range when ps5 is stored inside a rack).
Wondering if the blue and white cable shown in the teardown video is the Bluetooth antenna

Hi Eddie!
The blue and white antenna cables are basically fused together on some metal (and this one is attached to the PSU).

Those are for the WiFi and Bluetooth together.

Ooh I see. Can you explain what you mean by "this one is attached to the PSU"?
The antenna on eBay you referenced is the exact one I see after opening up my Slim. I installed an external antenna in place of this... So to confirm, are you saying the Slim only has one antenna(wifi and Bluetooth together) as opposed to 2 in the original ps5?

The metal piece is attached to the power supply! But this is only for the PS5. For the PS5 Slim it’s attached to the the side (opposite site from the power supply). Yes! The original PS5 have 2 antenna’s. blue and white, and black and white. The PS5 Slim only have the Blue and White ones. Wifi and bluetooth are combined. Same for the original PS5, but do have an extra antenna for more range.
And so can we just pull the blue cable an attach an external 2.4 antenna (say 6db ?)

@eddietsang have you tried the Bluetooth mod yet and have you been successful at it? Iam looking to do the same with my ps5 slim.
