Shut off on it's own and will not power up.
I've checked the power cord, replaced the power supply and board for the power button and still the machine will not turn on. Any ideas? Motherboard maybe??

Likely one of the power delivery modules on the motherboard then. Try using a multimeter to inject an electric current. If you have a thermal camera then you can use that to locate the short/fault.
Oh, and if I were you I'd check the ports as well with a voltmeter to see if the current is flowing properly.
