New inverter cable from ifixit connection fits, but doesn't conduct!

Hi,

My old inverter cable was cracked, so I bought a new one. But when I connect it my screen stays dark.

So, I took an AV meter and tested the cable, it was fine.

So I tried the old one again, and with cracking the cable I got backlight again.

So I asume that the copper parts of the new cable don't touch the inverter board or the logic bord, or both.

Is there anything I can try except sending the new one back to ifixit?
