Samsung galaxy tablet, purchased new about 2020. I can't turn it off w/o pw and I don't remember my pw! I've tried pressing volume & power buttons, doesn't work. I also have seen a quick red flash on the screen- is it broken now?

To options I can think of. One is press and hold the power button for about 60 seconds. Second is to remove the back and disconnect the battery for 10 minutes then reconnect.

Thank you...I had to bring it to a repair place. He fixed it in 10 min. Lol. Had to wipe out my info, but at that point, I didn't care.
