power goes on but engine will not speed up

peter netsua your A701 uses a speed controller. You want to check on that. Make sure that all the wires are connected, that the capacitors are still in working order and check the triac. Use something like this and some more on here as your guide. Post some images of what you find on yours so we can try and help you further. Is It possible that the motor is under strain from food building up inside of it the other thing I would do is check if there is any rust inside.
