When the audio is being output via bluetooth, the sound comes from both sides and is very clear. When I try to use it with the provided cord, the right side does not produce sound and the left is significantly quieter.

@flyingmoons either a bad jack or a loose wire on the cable connector. Try a different cable and see if that works. If it does you know it is the cable. if it does not, it's the jack.
