New Nintendo 3ds Freezes Randomly

I've been using my New Nintendo 3ds xl since it came out, I tried to install a CFW on it and that whole process failed so I uninstalled the entire thing, and formatted 3ds and sd card. I've opened it twice, once because the wifi chip was loose and another time because during the opening to fix the wifi chip, I ripped the right bumper ribbon cable and had to order a new one and fix it. Ever since then, whenever pressure is applied to the back of the 3ds it seems to completely freeze up causing me to have to hold the power button, and sometimes it turns back on. I've run out the battery a few times and that has solved the issue for only a little while. Any help?
