I had some Ice buildup behind a drawer in the main refrigerator, used a hair dryer to remove. Now my ice wont dump and freezer is not making the correct temperature. Help!!!
Can you hear if the evaporator fan inside the freezer compartment (behind a panel) is running? It will run as long as the compressor motor is running and the doors are shut. It will stop if you open a door so maybe try opening and closing a door and check if the fan sound stops and starts
Do not confuse this fan with the condenser fan which is outside the compartments underneath near the compressor which may run regardless of the state of the compressor or the doors.
